so i just recently started a photography class at my college and i absolutely love it. at first when my professor was explaining the process of taking the pictures and having to constantly change the aperture and and shutter speed i was like...ugh i don't know if i'm going to be able to do this. after developing my first two rolls of film i was like wow...i suck. after getting a little aggravated and showing my professor my contact sheet she was really encouraging and said keep trying after awhile it'll be easy and you'll know what your doing. so the past two days i've been working on two rolls of film in chiaroscuro and it was so difficult to find the right subject and making sure everything was perfect (lighting wise) was tough, but knowing that it took that much effort to make one picture makes it all worth it.
